    • Understanding Site Statistics Dashboard

The Strikingly Analytics dashboard gives you traffic data up to the last 90 days. It breaks down website visitor statistics according to the countries of origin, devices used and where the traffic comes from - e.g. search engines, social media, other websites. In this way, you get a general look at what parts of your digital marketing campaign are effectively attracting traffic into your site.

    • Adding Google Analytics

As a website owner, however, it’s wise to review detailed web site traffic statistics. Strikingly’s Analytics dashboard is a good way to start but we recommend adding Google Analytics to your website for a more granular view of your site’s performance.

    • How to Add Google Analytics to Strikingly

      1

      Create a Google Analytics account.

      2

Once you’ve completed the sign up, set up a new property and add your Strikingly website address. Google Analytics will give you a unique tracking ID.

      3

For existing Google Analytics account, you can go to Admin > Property > Tracking Info > Tracking Code to get your unique websites traffic statistics tracking ID.

      4

On your Strikingly website editor, go to Settings > Advanced > Services.

      5

Add the tracking code in the Google Analytics Tracker field.

      6

Add the tracking code in the Google Analytics Tracker field.

      7

Make sure to click Publish to save the changes.

    • It usually takes about 24 hours for the code to start working, at which point it gathers statistics website data.
